Peak Yoga is a program of The Swimming Hole Non-Profit Community Pool & Fitness Center, and its dedicated yoga and fitness studio. We offer yoga and fitness classes in a welcoming studio environment while remaining connected to The Swimming Hole’s mission of health and wellness for all.
The studio offers a variety of classes five days a week, accessible to all levels and styles of practice. Led by Studio Director Katie Shanley, Peak Yoga provides a supportive and inclusive space for everyone, from beginners to seasoned practitioners.

Katie is an E-RYT 500 Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher. She has been teaching for 10 years and practicing for 15 years. Katie did her 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training at Sanctuary Power Yoga in CT and her 300-hour Hatha/Ashtanga teacher training in Rishikesh, India. She has furthered her yoga and movement studies with yin, trauma-informed yoga, Buti Yoga, specialized workshops, and she's a certified barre teacher as well. Katie loves being a forever student. Her signature style is an eclectic blend - a strength and philosophy-driven flow class that is approachable to all levels.
Katie previously owned a studio in Millerton, NY for 4.5 years, with the pandemic bringing it to an abrupt close. Through her studio, she led two 200-hour yoga teacher trainings - one of which was entirely online during the pandemic. She has certified just under 20 teachers - all of whom gave her program 5 stars. Additionally, Katie is a certified health coach, aromatherapist, and vintage clothing lover - she even used to have a shop in Stowe!
Katie is thrilled to bring her knowledge, passion, experience, and huge heart to the Stowe Community. A UVM graduate, Katie always hoped she would return to Vermont and is extremely grateful that the time was finally right and she was able to move here with her husband (also a wonderful yoga teacher - whom she trained!) and their two rescue pups!

Lindsey completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher in addition to The Roll Model Method certification at River Rock Yoga in 2015. She continued to teach along side and study under the compassionate guidance of Sandy Byrne until she moved to Stowe in 2019.
Lindsey’s classes take into consideration her students’ everyday, physical needs as well as their more subtle spiritual needs. She teaches now in hopes of paying it forward, helping guide others to find ease in their bodies and in their hearts, just like it happened for her.

Tracy has been teaching yoga since completing her teacher training with world-renowned yogi master, Sri Dharma Mittra, in New York City in 2015. She found yoga in 2010 and discovered the practice to be a powerful set of tools for achieving physical health and wellness, emotional healing and mental clarity as well as Self-discovery. She initially practiced for many years at Sharon Gannon & David Life’s Jivamukti Yoga School in NYC. Her yoga classes follow the Dharma lineage of Hatha Raja yoga with some ashtanga-based Jivamukti influence.

Faye has been practicing yoga for over 30 years and completed her 200-hour yin yoga teacher training with Josh Summers in 2021 and completed 500-hours in 2024. With a background in respiratory therapy specializing in the education of respiratory therapists, Faye shares a blend of education and medical knowledge with yoga practice. Faye enjoys teaching those who strive for a healthy balance between aerobic exercise and the ‘yin’ of coming into stillness, awareness of breath and allowing sensation. Faye has greatly benefited from the transformation and healing power that yoga has to offer and wants to share her passion with her community. Faye welcomes students at all levels of yoga to her classes.

Anne first discovered the power of yoga while navigating through several life transitions and experiencing how healing and centering the practice can be—allowing her to feel strong and open both mentally and physically. Anne completed her 200-hour Vinyasa and Hatha Teacher Training through The School Yoga Institute in Costa Rica in 2022. She holds additional certifications in Kundalini and Paddle Board yoga, and has a particular affection for the Bhakti lineage. Forever a student, Anne enjoys studying the ancient art of yoga and consistently takes classes to expand her practice and discover new ways to incorporate yogic principles into her life as well as the studio.

Sadie has a deep appreciation for traditional yoga teachings and a heart-centered, accessible approach. She first came to yoga in her late teens, seeking a healthier lifestyle, and quickly realized it was a lifelong path of self-discovery. Inspired to deepen her practice, she dedicated herself to studying and teaching the ancient knowledge of yoga as a way to serve others.
She completed her 200-hour Jaya Vita training in 2020 at Jaya Yoga Studio in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. In 2024, she earned her 500-hour Dharma Yoga Life of a Yogi certification with yoga master Sri Dharma Mittra and his senior teachers at the Dharma Yoga Center in New York City.
Sadie’s classes blend mindful movement, breathwork, and meditative awareness, rooted in tradition yet welcoming to all levels. Her teaching creates space for students to connect inward, challenge themselves with compassion, and move as a collective energy that supports personal growth. She brings a genuine love and passion for the practice, guiding others toward greater self-knowledge and inner peace.

Sean is passionate about helping individuals improve their quality of life—physically, mentally, and emotionally—through safe, effective, and enjoyable movement. He works with a wide range of populations, from those overcoming balance challenges, illness recovery, or post-surgical rehabilitation, to individuals returning to exercise after long periods of inactivity. Sean's thoughtful, adaptable approach to fitness ensures every participant feels supported and capable at any stage of their journey.
As an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Certified Aquatic Fitness Instructor, Certified Kickboxing Instructor, and nationally certified ISSA Personal Trainer, Sean brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to his classes. His diverse background allows him to deliver engaging workouts that not only build strength and endurance, but also improve confidence, coordination, and overall well-being. Drawing on his own athletic background, he designs classes that enhance conditioning, agility, and resilience, helping individuals reach their peak physical and mental performance in sport and in life.

Nellie brings a blend of athletic experience, strength training and pilates expertise, and a deep passion for all things health and wellness to each of her classes. With a background in competitive swimming and volleyball, Nellie knows the importance of community, energy, and motivation.
As a nationally certified ISSA Personal Trainer and internationally certified Power Pilates Mat Pilates Instructor, Nellie teaches group fitness classes that are inspiring, supportive, and accessible. Her warm, encouraging style inspires participants to challenge themselves while building strength, improving mobility, and boosting confidence.
Nellie’s thoughtfully designed classes go beyond physical fitness—they empower you to feel energized, capable, and ready to thrive both inside and outside the studio.
