Peak Yoga invites you to explore the deeper dimensions of yoga. Our 200-hour teacher training, led by Studio Director Katie Shanley, is more than a path to becoming a yoga teacher. It’s a transformative journey that encourages self-discovery and personal growth.

This training provides a unique opportunity to deepen your practice and connect more profoundly with yourself, whether or not you choose to teach professionally. While mastering physical poses can be a rewarding aspect, the core of this program focuses on cultivating self-awareness, compassion, and authenticity. Investing in this training enriches your yoga practice and your life beyond the mat, supporting a holistic approach to personal development.

About Katie Shanley, Lead Instructor

With over a decade of experience in yoga, my practice blends strength and mindfulness through a Vinyasa style. My foundational 200-hour training was in hot power yoga, followed by a 300-hour certification in Hatha and Ashtanga. Additionally, I hold certifications in Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yin Yoga, Buti, and Barre. My teaching approach is highly intuitive, often integrating various styles into a single class.

Through the Peak Yoga teacher training, my aim is to help you tap into your intuition, creativity, and confidence. Whether you choose to teach or not, you will discover and develop your unique voice. I believe that yoga teachers are more than instructors; we are beacons of empowerment. My own practice has taught me to embrace wisdom, minimize suffering, and use life’s challenges as opportunities for growth.
